Product Warranty & Support Guide

At AttachMates, we're a Victorian-based business and we stand behind what we sell. If something goes wrong with one of our products within the warranty period, we'll sort it out — quickly, directly, and without the runaround. Here's how our warranty works.

What's Covered

We cover defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of invoice. This includes:

  • Structural failures from faulty welds or manufacturing defects

  • Component failures caused by a fault in the way the product was made

  • Hydraulic fitting failures due to a manufacturing defect (not improper connection)

If your product has a genuine manufacturing fault, we'll repair it, or supply a replacement part, whichever makes the most sense.

How to Make a Claim

Making a claim is straightforward. Just follow these steps:

  • Get in touch with us at warranty@attachmates.com.au or by phone within the warranty period. Have your invoice number and product details ready.

  • Send us photos or a short video of the fault. For weld or structural issues, a few angles help. Please don't attempt repairs before we've assessed the claim.

  • We'll come back to you within 24 business hours with an assessment — approved, declined, or if we need more info.

  • If approved, we'll confirm the fix: spare parts dispatched from Melbourne, or a local repair arranged. We'll give you a clear timeline.

We keep common spare parts in stock at our Melbourne facility, so for most minor issues we can have a part at your door fast — no waiting weeks for something to arrive from overseas.

Shipping & Repair Costs

For approved claims, we cover reasonable shipping costs for parts sent from our Melbourne stock. If a hands-on repair is needed for a genuine manufacturing fault, we'll arrange and cover the cost of a tradesperson — agreed with you in writing before any work starts.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

This warranty sits on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) — it doesn't replace or reduce them. Under the ACL, our products come with guarantees that can't be excluded. If a product has a major failure, you're entitled to a replacement or refund. For minor failures, you're entitled to a repair or replacement. If there's ever a conflict between these warranty terms and the ACL, the ACL takes precedence.

We're easy to deal with. If you have an issue with AttachMates product, give us a call directly and we'll work through it together.
